Our competencies

  • Titanium microwire

    Our current product portfolio includes the production of microwires made of titanium and its alloys including grade 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5. We work with drawing thicknesses between 1 mm and 40 µm.

    Our titanium microwires are characterized in particular by their good strength-to-weight ratio and resistance under high temperatures. The corrosion resistance and formability of our titanium microwires also make them industrially versatile.

    Grade 1, 2 and 4 titanium wires are used for example for spiral springs in the aerospace and automotive industries. Titanium microwires made from grade 5 titanium alloy are a basis for ropes required in the aerospace industry. Our products are also used in welding materials, spectacle frames or jewelry (including piercings).

    Furthermore, wire drawing processes with other titanium alloys or other metals can be mapped. Please do not hesitate to contact us.

  • Elastic textiles

    We process titanium microwires into elastic textiles. We use special textile processing methods to produce knitted, weaved or braided fabrics.

    The advantages of our textile patterns include their stable 3D structure for free-form surfaces, their large surface area to volume and low weight to high surface area ratio.

    Elastic textiles made of titanium can be used in various applications, including protective hoses, ropes, filtering techniques, catalysts (as carrier material) or droplet separators (demister). Depending on the customer’s requirements, we can modify our products or manufacture textile products from microwires of other metals.
