About us

We are a young technology company focusing on the development and manufacturing of high-quality medical products made of elastic titanium. Our special know-how lies in the production of ultra-thin titanium threads based on a unique micro-wire technology. Due to our technological expertise, we can use manufacturing techniques of textile processing to produce individual and tailor-made mesh structures. We manufacture various products such as elastic mesh implants made of pure titanium. We thus introduce the unique and unsurpassed biocompatibility of titanium into medical applications wherever textile properties are advantageous. As a result, Titanium can be transformed into a flexible fabric and for the first time be offered as an alternative to plastic materials.

We aim to utilize extraordinary properties of elastic titanium in medical applications to improve surgical and patient outcomes.

    Foundation Titanium Textiles AG

    Titanium Textiles AG is founded by Dr. Andrey Noskov and Equicore Beteiligungs GmbH.

  • APR
    2020

    Acquisition of a titanium specialist

    100% acquisition of the shares of ELTI LLC, a company with specialized technological expertise in the manufacturing of elastic titanium structures.

  • JUN
    2020

    Seed funding

    Closing of the seed financing round. Investors are Equicore Beteiligungs GmbH and Mittelständische Beteiligungsgesellschaft Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.

    2021

    Establishment of the company structure

    Establishment of company infrastructure in Rostock and preparation of medical device approvals for Europe and the USA.

    Acquisition of a distribution company

    Acquisition of a distribution company specializing in the distribution of surgical products.

Dr. Florian Ehlers

Chief Executive Officer

After completing his law degree, Florian initially worked in various positions at the international consumer goods group Unilever before joining Equicore Beteiligungs GmbH as the main shareholder of Titanium Textiles in 2021. In this role, he has intensively supported Titanium Textiles operationally in various functions since July 2021 before being appointed to the Management Board of Titanium Textiles AG in July 2023.

Dr. Shivendra Kishore

Chief Scientific Officer

With many years of experience in engineering, research & innovation and strategic consulting, Shivendra brings extensive expertise to Titanium Textiles AG. Among others, Shivendra led the R&D department at Centogene AG and worked as an Associate Consultant at Stratas Partners before founding his own startup Mimamsia GmbH in 2018.

Dr. Stefan Maeser

Chief Officer Sales & Marketing

Stefan has 30 years of experience in the life science industry. He has served as Sales & Marketing Director, Business Unit Head Europe & Middle East, Board Member, CEO, Supervisory Board Member and Consultant. In addition to Sales & Marketing, Stefan has worked in Medical Affairs and Business Development, launched innovative products and developed new markets.

Anton Ovchinnikov

Anton brings specialized expertise in economics, financial management and StartUp consulting and has worked for many years in various industries, including Gazprom, Rosatom and public scientific administration in the Russian Academy of Sciences. Anton is co-founder and managing director of ELTI LLC, the subsidiary of Titanium Textiles AG.

Sören Wedow

Technical Operations

With experience in the field of mechanical engineering and a focus on research and development, Sören brings extensive technical knowledge to the team. Sören has been awarded patents in the field of boroscopy and won in 2021 a prize for patient safety in medical technology for an innovative intubation aid. In addition to his passion for innovative ideas, Sören drives the ability to implement them as part of a team.

Dr. Anton Kasantsev

As a medical doctor with a research assignment from the Central Clinical Hospital of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Anton combines the technological and medical know-how about our products. For many years, Anton has been conducting research in the field of implant technology and has published various scientific papers and brought patents to registration. Anton is a co-founder of ELTI LLC, the subsidiary of Titanium Textiles AG.

    Dr Florian Ehlers appointed Chairman of the Board of Titanium Textiles AG

    Titanium Textiles AG announces changes in the composition of the Supervisory Board and the Management Board.

    Dr. Florian Ehlers took over the function of Chairman of the Management Board on 07 July 2023. He succeeds his father Christoph Ehlers, who is moving to the Supervisory Board for reasons of age. Christoph Ehlers will take over from Christine Uekert, who has asked to leave the Board due to her increasing operational involvement with Titanium Textiles.

    Marc Lorch is the new Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Titanium Textiles AG

    At its last meeting, the Supervisory Board of Titanium Textiles AG elected Marc Lorch as its new Chairman. Marc Lorch has been a member of the Executive Board of König + Neurath AG since May 2022 and will take over as Chairman of the company’s Executive Board in the coming months. Before, he was CEO and spokesman of the executive board of Dr. Zwissler Holding AG in Gerstetten for many years.

    This year, we took part at techtextil in Frankfurt and are returning with many impressions, interesting conversations and ideas. We are more motivated than ever to open up new fields of application with our disruptive technology. The congress confirmed once again that our ability to manufacture ultra-thin titanium wires and further process them into elastic textile structures is unique worldwide and creates new fields of usage in both medicine and industrial applications.
